Take control of your schedule by manually moving tasks and events with simple drag-and-drop actions.

Whilst AI scheduling is powerful, sometimes you know better! Chronos Calendar lets you manually override AI suggestions by simply dragging tasks to where you want them.
The task will become semi-transparent and your cursor will change to a grab icon
Time slots will highlight in blue as you hover over them
The task will snap to 15-minute increments for clean scheduling
Your task is now scheduled at the new time
Need more or less time for a task? You can resize tasks directly in the calendar.
The cursor will change to a resize icon
Drag down to increase duration, up to decrease
The task will snap to 15-minute intervals
When you manually drag a task to a new time, that time is preserved. The AI won't automatically reschedule it unless you edit its properties (priority, duration, etc.).
Both flexible tasks and fixed events support drag-and-drop. You have full control over your entire schedule.
Tasks automatically snap to 15-minute increments (e.g., 9:00, 9:15, 9:30) for clean, organised scheduling. You can't schedule tasks at odd times like 9:07.
If the server update fails for any reason, the drag action automatically reverts and your task returns to its original position.
Manual drag-and-drop does NOT trigger adaptive rescheduling of other tasks. This prevents the system from fighting your manual choices. Other tasks remain where they are.
Here are some situations where manual scheduling is especially useful:
The AI scheduled a task for tomorrow morning, but you'd prefer to do it this afternoon. Simply drag it to your preferred time.
Group related tasks together by dragging them to consecutive time slots. Great for focused work sessions or themed days.
A meeting ran late and pushed your schedule back. Quickly drag subsequent tasks to accommodate the change.
Need to work outside your normal hours? You can manually drag tasks to any time slot, even those marked as unavailable. This is useful for exceptions.
Spread tasks more evenly across the week by moving some from busy days to lighter days.
Use AI scheduling as a baseline
Let AI create the initial schedule, then make manual adjustments for personal preferences
Check for conflicts
Make sure you're not creating overlaps when manually scheduling tasks
Consider energy levels
Schedule demanding tasks when you're most alert and creative work when you're in the right mindset
Leave breathing room
Don't pack your schedule too tightly - leave gaps for breaks and unexpected issues
Review weekly
Take a few minutes each week to review and adjust your upcoming schedule
This means the server update failed. Check your internet connection and try again. The task returns to its original position to prevent data loss.
Make sure you're hovering over the very bottom edge of the task. The resize handle is a thin area at the bottom. Also ensure the task type supports resizing.
