Write docs and keep checklists next to your schedule, edit them together in real time, and attach them to the tasks they belong to.

The library shows docs and lists together, newest first, under All, Mine, Shared with me and Recent. Pro has no Shared with me tab, since nobody can share with a single-seat plan.
Renaming a doc or list is done in the iPhone or Android app for now.
Type / anywhere to open the block menu:
Standard shortcuts work too, such as Ctrl+B (⌘B on a Mac) for bold and Ctrl+I (⌘I) for italic. A word and character count sits under the doc, and on a wide screen a table of contents built from your headings appears beside it.
Everything saves as you type. The header shows when the doc was last edited and Saving..., Saved or Save failed. To make sure someone is notified, @mention them in a comment rather than in the doc itself.
When a doc or list shows Live, changes from everyone with it open appear as they happen, with each person's initial at the top of the page.
If the live connection drops, you'll see Offline:
The number of different people who can be in one doc or list live at once depends on the plan of the person joining: 4 on Shared, 50 on Teams and 1 on Pro. Anyone past the limit isn't connected live until someone leaves.
Comments are on docs, and the comments panel opens on wider screens.
People with view-only access can still read and add comments.
Each saved change to a doc is kept as a version with who made it and when. On a wide screen, click the clock icon (Version history) and pick a version to preview it.
Click Restore to put that version back. The restore becomes a new version itself, so you can undo it the same way. If someone changed the doc since you opened it, Chronos asks you to reload and try again.
Chronos keeps the most recent 50 versions of each doc on Shared, 100 on Pro and 200 on Teams.
On the Shared and Teams plans, the owner sees a share icon on the doc or list, and on its card in the library. The Share window has three parts.
Your partner and the people in your teams are listed. Set each to No access, Viewer (read and comment) or Editor (make changes), then click Save. New people get a notification and a push. You can name 1 person per doc or list on Shared and up to 50 on Teams. If nobody is listed, invite a partner or team member first.
Tick Share with your team to give every member access, as a Viewer or Editor.
Click Create public link (7 days) and copy it. Anyone with the link can read the doc's text (without its formatting) or see the list's items, without signing in, until it expires after 7 days. Leave the link on Viewer: people opening an Editorlink can type, but their changes aren't saved yet.
Revoke link turns off every public link to that doc or list straight away. It only shows just after you create a link, so to stop an older link, create a new one and revoke it.
Good to know: a doc or list you made with Shared with partner shows your partner as No access in this window. Set them to Viewer or Editor before you click Save, because saving with nobody selected and no team ticked makes it private again.
A doc or list that's attached to tasks shows them under Used by at the bottom of its page.
Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) to search. Docs match on their title and text, and lists match on their title or any item on them, including ones shared with you.
On Pro and Teams, you can ask the Chronos Agent to make a list from text, add items to a list, pull a list out of a doc, summarise a doc or list, find items, turn a doc into tasks, or attach a doc or list to a task.
A free trial has the Pro limits. When you reach a limit, Chronos shows which plan lifts it.
Open Docs from the menu and switch between Docs and Lists. Tap the add button to create one.
