Notion

Sync Notion databases with Chronos to turn your existing project lists and task boards into scheduled work.

By Byte Size Labs · Updated 13 April 2026

What the Notion Integration Does

The Notion integration connects your Notion databases to Chronos, importing pages as tasks so the AI can schedule them alongside your other work. Changes in Notion sync to Chronos automatically.

Best suited for:

  • Teams that manage project tasks in Notion databases
  • Bringing Notion to-do lists into your AI-scheduled calendar
  • Keeping Notion as the source of truth while Chronos handles scheduling

Connecting Notion

  1. Go to Settings › Integrations
  2. Click Connect Notion

You'll be redirected to Notion to authorise the Chronos integration.

  3. Select pages to share

Notion will ask which pages and databases Chronos can access. Select the databases you want to sync — you can add more later by reconnecting.

  4. Authorise and return to Chronos
  5. Choose databases to sync

From the Chronos integration settings, select which databases to import. Chronos will show a preview of the pages it will import.

  6. Map database properties

Match Notion properties to Chronos fields — for example, map a “Due date” property to Chronos's due date, and a “Priority” select to Chronos task priority.

  7. Start sync

Chronos imports matching pages as tasks. Future changes in Notion sync automatically.

What Syncs

Notion → Chronos

  • Database page title becomes the task title
  • Mapped date properties (due date, deadline) populate Chronos due dates
  • Mapped priority or status properties set task priority
  • Page body content becomes the task description
  • New pages added to the database create new Chronos tasks
  • Archived or deleted pages mark tasks complete or deleted

Chronos → Notion

  • Marking a task complete in Chronos updates the status in Notion (if a status property is mapped)
  • Scheduled time written back to a date property in Notion (if mapped)

Chronos treats Notion as the primary source — avoid editing synced tasks directly in Chronos if you want Notion to remain the source of truth.

Tip:For best results, use a Notion database with a “Due date” date property and a “Status” select property. These map cleanly to Chronos's due date and task completion state.
Troubleshooting:If pages stop syncing, the Notion integration may need to be re-authorised. Go to Settings › Integrations and click Reconnect Notion. Notion access tokens can expire if you change your Notion workspace settings.
