Habits

Build consistent routines by tracking daily, weekly, or custom habits alongside your tasks and schedule.

What are Habits?

Habits are recurring activities you want to track consistently — things like morning exercise, reading, meditation, or any routine that matters to you. Chronos Calendar lets you log completions each day and watch your streaks grow over time.

Creating a Habit

  1. Open the Habits section

Navigate to the Habits page from the sidebar under the Wellness menu.

  2. Click “New Habit”

Give your habit a descriptive name, such as “Morning run” or “Read for 30 minutes”.

  3. Choose a frequency

Select how often you want to do this habit:

    • Daily — every day of the week
    • Weekdays — Monday through Friday
    • Weekends — Saturday and Sunday
    • Weekly — once per week on a chosen day
  4. Save and start tracking

Your new habit appears on the Habits page. Tap the circle each day to mark it as complete.

Tracking Streaks

Each habit shows a current streak — the number of consecutive days (or weeks) you've completed it. Maintaining your streak is a powerful motivator. Miss a day and the streak resets to zero.

Tap any habit to open its detail page, which shows your completion history, longest streak, and total completions. Use this view to spot patterns and reflect on your consistency.

Add to Schedule

To block time for a habit in your calendar, use Add to Schedule on the habit detail page. This creates a recurring calendar event so the AI scheduler respects that time.

  1. Open the habit detail page by tapping the habit name.
  2. Tap Add to Schedule.
  3. Choose the time of day and duration for the recurring block.
  4. Confirm — a recurring event is created in your calendar matching the habit's frequency.
Tip: Review your habits every Sunday during your Weekly Review. Noting which habits you completed and which you struggled with helps you build a realistic routine.
