Find tasks, events, and projects instantly with global search — from anywhere in the app.

Opening Search

You can also click the search icon in the top navigation bar to open the search palette.

What You Can Search

  • TasksSearch by task title or description. Completed tasks are included in results.
  • EventsFind calendar events by title, including events synced from Google Calendar or Outlook.
  • ProjectsSearch project names to jump directly to a project view.
  • PeopleOn the Teams plan, search team members by name to view their tasks and schedule.

Filtering Results

After typing a query, use the filter chips below the search bar to narrow results by type.

  • Type filter: Show only Tasks, Events, or Projects
  • Status filter: Include or exclude completed items
  • Project filter: Limit results to a specific project
  • Date filter: Narrow to tasks or events within a date range
Tips:
  • Results appear instantly as you type — no need to press Enter
  • Use arrow keys to navigate results and Enter to open the selected item
  • Press Esc to close search without navigating away
  • Partial words match — searching “meet” finds “team meeting” and “meeting notes”
